Chateau Gazin 2011 is a classic vintage in Pomerol, 90% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc, 5% Cabernet Sauvignon. It is a structured, tannic wine that has been aged for 15 months in barrels, 45% of which is new.
The wine has a beautiful dark garnet color, a nose shared between black fruits (cherry-cherry and blackberry) and tannic notes. The palate is frank, ample and round with a good length and a woody finish.
The advice of 12bouteilles: Open and decant wine at least 1 hour before serving and serve chilled around 16 ° C. It will marry perfectly on grilled meats and cheeses a little strong!
