This Château Gazin is a classic Château and a reference of the Pomerol appellation, in the Bordeaux region. Neighboring the famous Domaine Pétrus, Château Gazin's vineyard covers 26 hectares of vineyards, cultivated in traditional ways.

Made from a blend of 87% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Sauvignon and 8% Cabernet Franc grapes, this 2016 vintage is a success, feminine and charming because of the dominance of Merlot.

The wines of Château Gazin usually deserve to wait fifteen, twenty years or more before enjoying them.

This 2016 Château Gazin is adorned with a pretty dark, intense, purple color. Its nose delivers generous flavors of red and black fruits (plums, blueberries, blackcurrant), which at maturity will open up to notes of spices, truffles, undergrowth and animal aromas. In the mouth, the attack is soft, soft and silky. The palate is slightly full-bodied, very tasty, the tannins are ample, bringing a long finish.

Château Gazin 2016 is a pleasure wine, elegant already considered as one of the greatest vintage of Pomerol and one of the most beautiful vintages of the Château.

The advice of 12bouteilles: This aging wine can be appreciated today, if it is decanted at least 2 hours before the tasting. Serve chilled around 17 ° C and enjoy on a piece of grilled beef.
