Owned by the mutual insurance company MAIF, it entrusted the management to Vignobles André Lurton in 1992. Since 2013 and the arrival of Laurent Fortin, the goal is the rebirth of Château Dauzac started almost 30 years ago. This fifth Margaux Cru Classé in 1855 produces magnificent wines. The great wine reveals a bouquet of a beautiful complexity, revealing itself slowly with aeration. The tasting offers a subtle balance between the richness of the tannins and the aromatic diversity of the fruit enveloped by an ever-present suppleness, archetype of the great wines of Margaux. The Château produces since 2013, Aurore de Dauzac, a second wine more accessible and fruity to consume as soon as bottling and in its young years.
