The wines are full, fresh, gourmet, generous... a real pleasure.
Marquis de Calon Ségur 2019 is also a different expression of Saint Estèphe with a fine balance between Carnet Sauvignon 54% and Merlot 44% complemented by 2% Cabernet Franc.
The 2019 vintage was matured for 17 months in French oak barrels, 30% of which were new.
The 12bottle tip : A wine that will wait a few years in your cellar but that you can already enjoy with great pleasure. Decant the bottle at least 2 hours before, serve the wine chilled at around 18°c. It will go wonderfully with red meats and cheeses.
In the Saint Estèphe appellation , you can also discover Chateau Lafon Rochet, Château Montrose, Château Phélan-Ségur, Château Haut-Marbuzet or Château Cos d'Estournel.
