Burgundy - Gevrey Chambertin - Red Wine -The Gevrey-Chambertin La Justice 2018 from Maison Antonin Guyon is a red grand cru from the Côte de Nuits. It is located on hillsides benefiting from a very beautiful exposure on the most famous commune in Côte de Nuits, Gevrey-Chambertin. The vines are on average 35 years old and develop on clay-limestone soil. The harvest is carried out manually in small boxes. Sorting of the harvest is carried out in the winery. Long vinification in wooden vats. This is followed by aging in oak barrels (1/3 new barrels) and bottling after 18 months.
Tasting note:
The dress: very beautiful garnet color
The nose: aromas of small red fruits (sour cherry)
The palate: a round wine, with a very nice balance, melted and finely woody tannins. Its richness and structure will allow it to keep for ten years.
