Solaia 2016 is a gourmet red wine offered by the Italian house Antinori. It is produced in Tuscany in IGT Tignanello.
From a blend of 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Sangiovese, 5% Cabernet Franc,
Tasting note:
The color: adorns a beautiful ruby red color, very intense with purple reflections.
The nose: expresses aromas of black fruit, pleasantly fresh and vibrant, accompanied by notes of balsamic, liquorice and mint. The second nose reveals scents of sweet chocolate and cotton candy notes alternating with spicy suggestions of white pepper with an intense spiciness, adding power to this wine.
The mouth: initially elegant, it then becomes full of tannins and body. The vibrant, long and very persistent finish indicates an optimal aging potential over time.
The advice of 12 bottles: To be served between 16 ° C and 18 ° C, Solaia 2016 is delicious with an oven roasted chicken.
