Property of the Courselle family, also owner of Château Thieuley, Clos Saint Anne is a property that produces red Côtes de Bordeaux and white Cadillac Liquoreux. The production of sweet wines is 5,000 bottles on a surface of 1.5 hectares. The Clos Saint Anne is a jewel composed of 50% botrytised grapes and 50% clusters pasteurillées. The aging is done in barrels for 4 to 6 months. Bottling is early to reduce the sulphite content. Marie and Syvie Courselle define their wine as follows: The balance in the mouth is completely different from Sauternes. We are rather looking for freshness than the aromatic richness of sweet white wine. So sugar content and alcoholometry are not that high. It is a unique liquoreux!
