Château Dassault
FILTER
Château Dassault Grand Cru Classé Saint Emilion, belongs to the Dassault Family. Marcel Dassault bought Château Couperie in 1955, and renamed it. The property covers almost 50 hectares, one of the largest wine estates of the appellation. Today the property is now managed by Laurent Dassault who follows the wines closely. Since 1995, Laurence Brun-Vergriette has taken over all the technique and has done a thorough job in the vineyard and the cellars, in order to improve the quality of wines. Its grape varieties are 65% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Franc and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon. The wines produced have a lot of finesse, silky tannins that give way to fruits and aromas. The second wine of the Château is: D de Dassault.
