Vignobles Daniel Mouty
The history of the vineyards of Daniel Mouty began in 1923 when Donat Mouty, passionate about the oenology of Saint-Emilion, took over the Château Barry and was then relayed by his son Noël Mouty who continued the development of the estate. In 1973, Daniel Mouty and his wife Françoise bring a second wind to the management of the property. They bring modernity to winemaking techniques while preserving the identity of the Château and its wines. In 1982, the estate expands with the arrival of Château Tour Renaissance, the property of Françoise Mouty, the range develops with Château Rambaud and Ramboud extract, magnificent wines from the Bordeaux appellation. The estate grows again when the Mouty family becomes owner of two vineyards on the prestigious appellation Pomerol, the range of Vignobles Daniel Mouty is strengthened with the arrival of the Château Grand Beauséjour and the vintage Saint-André. Today, the vineyards Daniel Mouty are managed by Sabine and Bertrand, children Mouty, who feed the family passion, and participate in the development of the estate by opening a cottage and bed and breakfast in the vineyards of the Domaine des grands Ormes and develops New Earth, a 100% Chardonnay wine. In 2016, the entire vineyard makes the transition to the organic label.
