De Buris : Amarone Della Valpolicella Classico Riserva 2008

Vénétie - Red Wine -

De Buris Amarone della Valpolicella Classico 2008 is a great Italian red wine produced by the Tomassi family. Made from a blend of 62% Corvina, 25% Corvinone, 5% Rondinella and 8% Oseleta, it comes from a 1.9-hectare, low-yield vineyard perched on the Grola hill in the heart of Sant'Ambrogio di Valpolicella, overlooking Lake Garda.

Tasting notes:

The robe: intense red

The nose: notes of liquorice, carob and leather, cloves and chocolate, in a lively style

The palate: lively acidity, full body and round, soft tannins are fully resolved, resulting in a long, flavorful wine

The advice of 12Bouteilles: To be served at 18°C, It can be drunk on its own and will go perfectly with game, red meats and mature cheeses.

De Buris is a dream with distant roots when the Tommasi family bought the vineyards of La Groletta, an area renowned for the production of Amarone and a symbol cru of Valpolicella Classica. In 2018, the dream became a reality, giving life to a unique wine that values time.

Tommasi is a family estate located in the Province of Verona, in the Valpolicella appellation and comprises 205 hectares. Tommasi family estates produce wines from Italy's most precious and interesting wine-growing regions.
