This Pouilly Fumé "Indigène", is a parcel-based cuvée produced by the Domaine Pascal Jolivet. Made from a selection of old vines of sauvignon blanc, this dry white wine comes from a limestone terroir located in the Loire Valley, in the Pouilly fumé appellation. "Indigène" takes its name from the yeasts naturally present in the grapes.
This powerful, well-structured, mineral and elegant wine is identifiable by its "pierre à fusil" nose, the signature of the Pouilly flint terroir. A great Loire wine from Pascal Jolivet.
The 12bottle suggestion: To be enjoyed now, this very great wine should be served chilled, at around 12°C. It will go perfectly with a seafood platter, turbot served whole or roasted white meat.
