"The finesse, the distinction, a great elegance.The dress is pure and bright, barely tinged with white gold.The aromas evoke the trees in bloom, the fruits with white flesh.With the age of wine, they evolve towards notes of almonds, slightly roasted dried fruits, a pleasant sensation of silky freshness on the palate, long persistence of an exceptional aromatic, floral and fruity richness.
Located on the central part of the Côte de Beaune, dedicated to very fine wines, it is the prestigious Côte des Blancs, of which Puligny-Montrachet is a part. Made famous around the world by the neighborhood of the famous Montrachet, the village of Puligny is of ancient origin.
By deep conviction, Joseph Drouhin has adopted the practices of organic viticulture. From earth to glass, methods are dominated by respect and listening to nature.
From the beginning, the House pursues an ideal of elegant perfection. The Joseph Drouhin style combines balance, harmony and character, for a pleasure of infinite richness.
Domaine Joseph Drouhin is one of the largest in the region with 70 hectares, spread over several towns in Burgundy and has a majority of Grands Crus and Premiers Crus planted in two Burgundy grape varieties: Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
