Famille Hugel: Gewurztraminer VENDANGE TARDIVE 2007
Gewurztraminer VENDANGE TARDIVE 2007 is a white wine made by the Hugel family in Riquewihr in Alsace in the most prestigious vintages. Made from 100% Gewurztraminer grapes, from the oldest parcels of Domaine HUGEL, grown in the heart of Sporen where the clay-marl soil of the lias and rich in phosphoric acid is favorable to the development of this variety of grapes.
This Gewurztraminer VENDANGE TARDIVE 2007 is made from overripe grapes, harvested well after the classical harvest and only in the big years. The Hugel house is also famous for their Late Harvest and their selection of Noble Grains.
This sweet white is of great refinement, delicate and juicy. In the mouth, it is a fruity explosion of lychee, mango and passion fruit coated with notes of oriental spices. You will also be charmed by its floral scents of roses, jasmine and peony
This vintage 2007 will reserve for Alsace many surprises, and good!
The advice of 12bouteilles: To drink now or to keep for another 10 to 15 years, this fluffy white wine will marvelously accompany a sweet dessert based on fruit.
