Burgundy - Gevrey Chambertin - Red Wine -This Gevrey-Chambertin 2020 is a great organic red wine from Burgundy, 100% Pinot Noir in the Gevrey-Chambertin appellation. Made from a plot of vines aged from 20 to 60 years, planted on clay-limestone soils of different textures, it is aged in new barrels and in tanks before being bottled. It is a very successful wine between power, elegance and balance. Irreproachable in its structure, fleshy and warm, it will offer you a superb moment of tasting.

The robe: ruby red
The nose: aromas of red and black fruits
The palate: depth, and suppleness, we find aromas of red fruits (raspberry, strawberry) and black fruits. Accompanied by a beautiful texture, the final is full and well-balanced.
Domaine Thierry Mortet was founded in 1992 following the dissolution of Domaine Mortet Charles & Fils which belonged to Thierry's father and was shared between him and his brother Denis. Today they exploit an area of 8.5 hectares located in the centre of the village of Gevrey Chambertin between Dijon and Nuits-Saint-Georges where the work of the vine is carried out through reasoned agriculture. The domain aims to offer elegant wines of limited production, which express with sincerity the characteristics of the variety of the greatest terroirs of Burgundy.
The advice 12bouteilles: To be served around 16°C, this red wine will perfectly accompany red meat, a game or mature cheeses. It can be appreciated from now on or in the 5-10 years to come.
