Colour : a very beautiful shimmering garnet colour.
Nose : The bouquet reveals the pure expression of Burgundy's great Pinot Noirs, with notes of fresh cherry with a hint of liquorice and raspberry with toasted spice.
Palate : Crisp and complex on the palate, confirming the fruity aromas with remarkable depth for a village wine. The structure is elegant, marked by silky tannins and exemplary control.

The 2021 vintage of Sylvain Pataille's Marsannay Rouge comes from vines aged between 30 and 50 years, planted on various plots of limestone scree. It is matured for 18 months in oak barrels.
The story of Domaine Sylvain Pataille is the story of a man who has been passionate about the world of wine since his youth. As a consultant oenologist, Sylvain Pataille took the decision in 1999 to lease a hectare of vines, with the ambition of creating Burgundy wines that express the potential and nuances of the Marsannay appellation with elegance and authenticity.
Between 2000 and 2011, the estate's surface area grew from 2 to 4 hectares, marking the permanent installation of Sylvain Pataille at the estate in 2011. The estate then grew to 10 hectares in 2002. Today, Domaine Sylvain Pataille oversees a 17-hectares vineyard, which has been organically farmed since 2008 under Ecocert certification.
Sylvain attaches great importance to maturing the wines in oak barrels and ensuring that they are of the highest possible quality. The top-of-the-range wines are distinguished by their exceptional freshness, finesse and elegance.
