Burgundy - Meursault - White Wine -This Meursault "Sous La Velle" 2021 is a 100% organic Chardonnay produced by Domaine Rémi Jobard. Located on the "Sous La Velle" parcel, a magnificent gravel and limestone hillside below Château de la Velle, it is a rich, unctuous wine.
Tasting notes:
The robe: an intense lemon-yellow colour.
The nose: powerful yet light, with notes of brioche, chalk and jasmine, and aromas of peach, citrus and dried fruit.
The palate: a magnificent mineral framework on a full, graceful structure. Bitterness and citrus spread out in length for a long finish.
The advice of 12bouteilles: It goes perfectly with veal or poultry.
Domaine Rémi Jobard produces precise, exquisite wines. The vines were worked entirely by hand, and yields were greatly reduced. He opened the vineyard to organic farming. This series of changes brought much-needed fresh air to Domaine and its wines. In just a few years, Rémi Jobard has changed his Meursault vineyard and delivered fine wines.
