Mégaphone 2017, Domaine du Vieux Télégraphe

Megaphone 2017 is a wine from the AOC Ventoux vinified by the Bruiner family known for their domaine du Vieux Télégraphe, superstar of the Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation.
This 2017 vintage is a pure marvel from a blend of Grenache Noir 80% Syrah 2 °%.
Tasting note:
the nose is serious, deep, slightly liquoricey.
In the mouth, we discover the spices of this new terroir, mixed with scents of garrigue. The frame is beautiful, it's tense, elegant, standing, we feel the coolness of the place. A real character.
The 2017 vintage has been rated 91/100 by Jeb Dunnuck:
mix of Grenache and Syrah, the 2017 Ventoux Megaphone offers more depth and richness, more structure, over the Pigeoulet. Black raspberries, scrubland, crushed rocks / salty minerality, and licorice all the way to a medium-bodied, ripe, concentrated wine that has good acidity, notable tannins, and a good finish. It's going to benefit from 6-12 months of bottle, and while I would not be surprised at this keep for upward of a decade.
The 12Bouteilles tips : A Ventoux at a light price that proves that a great wine is not necessarily an expensive wine. Open 30 minutes before tasting, a real buddy wine!
