Loire - Saumur Champigny - Red Wine -Les coudraies 2021 is one of the two great parcels wines of Domaine des Closiers. The vintage marks a real break with the 2020 vintage.
12 months of barrel ageing (100% of the cuvée was aged in barrels), followed by 12 months in bottle. For this reason, the wine is not marketed until 2024. For the record, only 20% of Coudraies 2020 spent 8 months in barrel;

Today, Les Coudraies 2021 is ready to drink. It shows all the finesse of the vintage, while at the same time reflecting the terroir of this parcel. The nose is floral. On the palate, red fruit gradually gives way to black fruit and the spicy notes characteristic of this cuvée. Les coudraies 2021 can be opened quickly, although it will of course age very well in the cellar.
the great Cabernets Francs are located on the highest-quality hillsides of Parnay The appellation's specificity lies in its clay-limestone soils, which give it all its richness and finesse.

Robe: magnificent, brilliant red
Nose: floral.
Mouth: red fruit gradually gives way to black fruit and the spicy notes characteristic of this cuvée.
Les coudraies 2021 can be opened quickly, although of course they will age very well in the cellar.
Nady Foucault (Clos Rougeard) advises the domaine in the elaboration of its first vintages with a perfect price/pleasure ratio. A domaine coup de coeur that will undoubtedly be among the reference domains of in a few years.
The Domaine des Closiers is committed to developing biodiversity, and has been awarded the Haute Valeur Environnementale (HVE 3) label. The vines are protected without pesticides or insecticides, and harvested entirely by hand.
