Tasting Notes
Appearance: bright pale yellow with golden highlights.
Nose: complex and layered with ripe citrus (candied lemon, sweet orange), white flowers, white peach, pear, delicate exotic fruit, nuanced flint and fine honeyed notes.
Palate: broad, structured and perfectly balanced. Fresh and precise attack followed by silky texture, underpinned by vibrant acidity and saline minerality. Long, elegant and persistent finish with expressive aromatics.
Terroir & Blend
Pessac-Léognan’s deep gravel soils over clay-sandy subsoils provide exceptional drainage and promote aromatic purity. Blend dominated by Sémillon, complemented by Sauvignon Blanc and a touch of Sauvignon Gris, offering tension, richness and aging capacity.
Winemaking & Aging
Hand-harvested grapes with stringent sorting. Gentle pressing, fermentation in French oak barrels and stainless steel tanks to preserve fruit purity while adding complexity. Aged on fine lees with regular batonnage and a measured amount of new oak, perfectly integrated to balance richness and freshness.
Food Pairings
Pairs beautifully with fine oysters, shellfish (lobster, langoustines), noble fish (sea bass, turbot), poultry in creamy sauces, creamy risottos or aged hard cheeses. Serve at 50–54 °F (10–12 °C).
