Champagne Deutz Amour de Deutz Rosé 2013 with gift box is the prestigious rosé cuvée of Maison Deutz, presented here in its original gift box. Made from 58% Pinot Noir and 42% Chardonnay, including 6% red Pinot Noir wine, this exceptional Champagne combines red berries, rose and citrus with a velvety texture, remarkable mineral freshness and a long, chalky finish. More than a decade after the harvest, the 2013 is now beautifully mature while retaining impressive tension and precision.
Colour: luminous pale pink with delicate copper highlights and fine, elegant bubbles.
Nose: complex and refined, showing strawberry, raspberry, blackberry and black cherry alongside rose petal. With age and air, citrus, cranberry and toasted nuances emerge.
Palate: precise and velvety, with a vibrant core of red fruit supported by lively acidity. The texture remains remarkably graceful despite the wine's depth, leading to a persistent, chalky and saline finish.
The blend comprises 58% Pinot Noir from Aÿ, Ambonnay, Bouzy and Verzenay and 42% Chardonnay from Villers-Marmery, Avize and Vertus. Pinot Noir contributes vinosity and aromatic intensity, while Chardonnay provides finesse, freshness and length.
The colour and distinctive character of Amour de Deutz Rosé are partly derived from the inclusion of 6% red Pinot Noir wine. It comes from old vines including La Pelle in Aÿ and Cumaine and Charmont in Mareuil-sur-Aÿ. This small proportion adds depth, texture and red-fruit character without compromising the refinement of the cuvée.
A late Champagne vintage, 2013 was characterised by slow ripening and high natural acidity. This freshness is now one of the wine's greatest assets: more than a decade after harvest, its aromas have gained complexity while the palate retains impressive tension. The documented December 2022 disgorgement with a dosage of 7 g/L contributes to its precise balance.
Amour de Deutz Rosé 2013 received 97/100 from James Suckling, 95/100 from Wine Enthusiast and 94/100 from Wine Spectator. Wine Advocate also awarded the wine 94/100, highlighting its complexity and chalk-inflected finish.
Serve at around 10°C in a generous wine glass. Excellent pairings include tuna tataki, grilled lobster, red mullet, John Dory, beef carpaccio or roast pigeon with cherries. The 2013 is fully approachable today but can still be cellared for several more years under suitable conditions.
Presented in its gift box, Amour de Deutz Rosé 2013 also makes an exceptional Champagne gift. Its appeal, however, goes far beyond presentation: the 2013 is now at a particularly compelling stage, combining vibrant red fruit, mature complexity and mineral freshness. Serve it with food rather than reserving it solely for the aperitif.

Yes. This reference consists of one 75 cl bottle presented in its gift box. The presentation protects and showcases the bottle, making it particularly suitable for a gift or special occasion.
The Champagne itself is identical: the same cuvée, vintage and 75 cl bottle. Only the presentation differs. This reference includes the Deutz gift box, unlike a bottle-only version.
Yes. More than a decade after the vintage, the 2013 now combines mature aromatic complexity with impressive freshness. Wine Spectator suggests a drinking window through 2031, making it suitable both for drinking now and for several more years of careful cellaring.
Amour de Deutz Rosé is the House's prestige rosé cuvée. The 2013 now offers greater bottle-age complexity while retaining remarkable finesse. Rosé Millésimé 2019 is younger, more immediately fruit-driven and offers a more overtly vinous expression of Pinot Noir.
The choice depends on the style you prefer. The Rosé combines Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, emphasising red fruit, vinosity and texture. The white Amour de Deutz 2013 is a 100% Chardonnay Blanc de Blancs, with greater emphasis on citrus, finesse and tension. Both belong to Deutz's prestigious Trio de Prestige.
Decanting is not essential. This mature Champagne will benefit more from a generous glass and a little time to open naturally. Serve at around 10°C and allow it to develop gradually in the glass without unnecessarily accelerating the loss of its fine bubbles.
