Clos de la Coulée de Serrant 2021
Loire - Savennieres coulée de serrant - White Wine -Clos de la Coulée de Serrant 2021 is one of the greatest white wines of Anjou. The 2021 vintage represents for the Joly family the 889th consecutive harvest of the vineyard. Aged in oak barrels for 6 to 8 months, produced in very small quantities, it has a unique and very contemporary style.
The harvest takes place over 4 to 5 weeks in September and October in order to obtain the most colorful maturity possible. To make the most of its aromatic power and superb minerality, it is advisable to place it in a carafe 24 hours before tasting.
Tasting note:
To the eye: Golden yellow
On the nose: Delicate, with floral, white fruit and citrus aromas.
On the palate: A fresh, expressive, mineral and very supple attack.
Food and wine pairings: Foie gras, fish (sushi, trout, pike), lobster in sauce, white meat (pot hen, duck fillet with honey sauce, veal cutlet), cheese (Comté, Maroilles, Mont d'Or cold, dry goat cheese, parsley cheese)
