Château Talbot Caillou Blanc 2020
Bordeaux - White Bordeaux - White Wine -In this 2020 vintage, Caillou blanc from Château Talbot is a particularly successful dry white Bordeaux, with great freshness, lots of fruit and a nice liveliness on the palate.
A vintage that you can taste now but that will know how to wait.
To the eye, the color is bright yellow with green reflections.
On the nose it is the fruit that impresses, the Sauvignons are bright and give off aromas of lemons and white peaches.
On the palate, the attack is fruity, full of citrus and rich. the tannins well supported by the acidity bring a touch of elegance on the finish.
Blend: 75% Sauvignon, 25% Semillon.
Ageing: 100% in barrels, 1/3 of which in new barrels.
The advice of 12bouteilles: Open the bottle 30 minutes before tasting it, serve the wine chilled around 10-12°c. It will go perfectly with oily fish and your seafood platters.
