Château La Mission Haut-Brion 2022 is a powerful and refined expression of Pessac-Léognan. Neighbouring Haut-Brion, the estate delivers a wine of great depth and character in 2022, combining controlled power, aromatic precision and remarkable freshness.
Appearance: deep, dark purple.
Nose: complex and expressive with blackcurrant, blackberry, dark cherry, graphite, cocoa, fine spices and signature smoky notes.
Palate: broad and structured with firm yet polished tannins. Dense core without heaviness, vibrant tension and a long, deep, mineral finish.
Deep gravel soils over sandy-clay subsoils. Blend dominated by Merlot, complemented by Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, providing structure and longevity.
Hand-harvested grapes, strict selection and parcel-by-parcel vinification. Extended aging in French oak barrels with a carefully measured proportion of new oak to preserve balance and terroir expression.
Perfect with roasted beef, veal chop, lamb, game, truffle dishes or aged cheeses. Serve at 60–63°F (16–17°C). Decant for 1–2 hours when young.
Château La Mission Haut-Brion 2022 is a bold, age-worthy Bordeaux. Outstanding now with aeration, it will evolve beautifully over 25–35 years.
