Château Ducru Beaucaillou is one of the emblematic wines of the Saint Julien appellation. The estate of Château Ducru Beaucaillou extends over approximately 245 hectares of which 75 hectares are under vine. The Borie family has been the owners for more than 60 years. The vineyard produces blended wines with Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Château Ducru-Beaucaillou 2018 is a magnificent Saint-Julien wine, a sure value of the appellation.
Tasting Note :
The dress : a beautiful deep ruby color
The nose: reveals delicious aromas of black and red fruits.
The palate: we find an elegant, supple palate with freshness and fine tannins. The wine is of real finesse and balance.
The advise of 12bouteilles : Open and decant the wine at least 2 hours before tasting to let the aromas unfold. Serve chilled around 17°C on a nice red meat.
