Château Chasse Spleen 2016 is a fabulous Cru Bourgeois from the Moulis-en-Médoc appellation. Owned by the Merlaut family since 1976, Château Chasse Spleen is a reference in the Médoc for quality wines.

This 2016 vintage is applauded by the greatest oenology critics such as Wine Advocate Parker who said "It's a fabulous Spleen-Hunt, the best I've ever tasted in the field."

This 2016 vintage is made from a blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 42% Merlot, 6% Petit Verdot and 2% Cabernet Franc, and is adorned with a bright, deep ruby ​​color.

Its nose is a clear and expressive bouquet of black cherries and fresh red roses, which release notes of blackberry and pink pepper after shaking.

In the mouth, the attack is dense, ample and frank. The palate is voluminous with fine and strong tannins, introducing a lingering finish with hints of liquorice and cocoa.
