Burgundy - Saint Véran - White Wine -This Saint Véran Climat “La Bonnode” Cuvée Ovoid Zen 2022 is a plot cuvée produced by the Domaine de la Soufrandière. This sublime white wine is made from the Chardonnay grape variety (100%), at the foot of the Vergisson rock, from vines whose average age is 35 years. It comes from a plot of 2ha in total, in one piece and neighboring La Combe Desroches. The vines face due east at the foot of the Roche de Vergisson. An idyllic setting that is both privileged and protected, making biodynamic practice “easy”.
Tasting notes:
The robe: golden with light green reflections.
The nose: expressive with aromas of white flowers and fresh fruit (apple, pear, peach), with a note of quince and ginger
The mouth: silky and delicious, with a beautiful liveliness and great aromatic complexity. Long and salivating finish.
The 12bouteilles advice : Sublime with fish, seafood or white meat, to be served around 12°C.
The Domaine La Soufrandière is a reference in the field of winemaking in the Mâconnais region, in Burgundy. Founded in 1999 by the Bret brothers, this family estate extends over twenty hectares of vines cultivated in biodynamic agriculture.
