Marques de Murrieta Gran Reserva 2015
Rioja - Red Wine -Marques de Murrieta Gran Reserva 2015 is a great wine from the Rioja produced by the Bodega Marques de Murrieta.
The nose gives off fine aromas of ripe black berries, blackcurrants and figs which anticipate a spicy, balsamic and woody, elegant vanilla flavour down the line.
On the palate the wine is refined, round fat and silky with the melted tannins so characteristic of great Rioja wines. A wine with muscle and great ageing potential.
The 2015 vintage is a blend of 80% Tempranillo, 9% Graciano, 9% Mazuelo, 2% Grenache this is a real nugget.
Maria Vargas, Technical Director of Bodega Marques de Murrieta, describes the 2015 vintage as "a well-structured wine with lots of life, a faithful expression of the vintage and of our Ygay estate".
The wines were aged for 27 months in American oak barrels.
Complex and perfectly balanced, the wines are absolutely delicious;

This wine goes well with all Spanish dishes: hams, cheeses, tapas and roasted meats.
