The Champagne Armand de Brignac Brut Rosé is a rare cuvée, a huge rosé Champagne made from a majority blend of Pinot Noir signed by the House of Armand de Brignac.
It is composed of 50% pinot noir, 40% meunier and 10% chardonnay. Its dosage is 8.5g/l.
Each bottle of Armand de Brignac is covered with metal, finished with the hand application of French pewter "Ace of Spades" labels and then polished. Only 20 bottles can be made per person per hour in the winery, so no two bottles are identical.
Armand de Brignac Rosé is made with pinot noir from old vines planted on the Montagne de Reims, which produce a grape with a powerful aromatic intensity. The resulting cuvée offers lively and fresh touches of red fruits, complemented by aromas of cookies.
Strawberry, black currant and cherry aromas on the nose are combined with floral and sweet almond notes. The predominance of red grapes brings a structured taste in the mouth, full of black fruits, cherries and touches of cookies.
Ideal as an aperitif, Armand de Brignac Rosé also goes well with truffled veal, duck confit and wild salmon.
