Viña Seña 2021
Central Valley - Aconcagua Valley - Red Wine -Seña 2021 is the property’s 27th vintage. In just a few years, this wine has established itself as one of the most essential references in Chile, it is one of the first estates in the world to convert to Biodynamics.
The dress: is adorned with a beautiful deep purple-red color
The nose: Lots of freshness, aromas of red fruits (cherries, plums, redcurrants), all framed by light notes of sweet spices.
The palate: young fruits, softer spices with elegant tannins which highlight the fruits and give the finish a silky and pleasant sensation.
The 2021 vintage of Seña is an extremely subtle vintage of elegance and balance with a full and deep finish.
This is once again a vintage of the star vintage of the Aconcagua Valley. Blended wine from the 42 hectares vineyard on the hillside of Seña, on colluvial soils on the slopes of the valley.
The 2021 vintage in Chile is absolutely magnificent, a perfect reflection of the warm climatic conditions and cool winds coming from the Pacific coast. This is an extraordinary wine rated 98+/100 by Wine Advocate and 100/100 by James Suckling.
The blend of this 2021 vintage is made up of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 17% Carnemere, 27% Malbec and 6% Petit Verdot.
The wines are aged for 22 months in 90% new French oak barrels and 10% in Foudre.
Once again, the most iconic of Chilean wines is very well balanced in a rather warm vintage, lots of freshness, acidity and impressive tension.
