Château Pichon Baron 2005
The Château Pichon-Longueville Baron, ranked Second Cru in the 1855 historical classification, is one of the greatest wines of Bordeaux.
Marked by Cabernet Sauvignon, the wine is characterized by great power and strict elegance. It is a wine of great care but an arduous beginning in its youth, it must wait generally 10 to 15 years to allow its racy bouquet to reveal itself and its solid tannic structure to blend. This authentic Pauillac offers an intense and fruity sensory discovery.
The year 2005 was on the whole on this region an exceptional year. The Château Pichon-Longueville Baron is improving year after year and can age more than 40 years in cellar.
The strong personality of this 2005 red wine is confirmed by its fresh aromas of red fruits and blackberries. This wine of great care with the assertive, powerful, rich and fleshy character reflects the spirit of the estate.
