In this 2019 vintage, Château Ducru Beaucaillou presents one of its greatest vintages.
Critics have rewarded the wine with scores ranging up to the grail, Parker 97-100, Suckling 99-100, Dunnuck 97-100.
Of course, this Saint Julien wine is absolutely not ready to drink, it will wait patiently in your cellar for at least the next 5 years before being opened.
To the eye, the color is intense red with purple reflections.
On the nose, black fruits emerge such as blackberry, cherry, then complex aromas of cocoa, coffee and spices.
In the mouth, the attack is greedy, dense and concentrated fruits, associated with a good length with a lot of freshness. the finish is elegant with silky tannins.
The vintage is presented as legendary by the Château.
Blend : 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot.
Ageing : 100% in new barrels for 18 months.
The advice of 12bouteilles : A bottle to forget in your cellar! If you feel like tasting it, decant the bottle at least 6 hours before, serve the wine chilled around 18°C. It will go wonderfully with your red meats and cheeses.Julien
