Central Valley - Aconcagua Valley - Red Wine -Seña in the 2019 vintage celebrates the 25th vintage of the property.
This is probably the greatest vintage of the Aconcagua Valley's star vintage. Blended wine from the 42-hectare vineyard on the hillside of Seña, on colluvial soils on the slopes of the valley.
The 2019 vintage in Chile is absolutely magnificent, it is with 2015 one of the mythical vintages of the decade. It is an extraordinary wine rated 98/100 by Robert Parker and James Suckling.
The blend is made up of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Carnemere, 21% Malbec and 4% Petit Verdot. The wines are aged for 22 months in 80% French oak barrels.of the year, which uniquely combines intensity and quality.
Tasting note:
Colour: A beautiful deep purple-red colour.
Nose: unveils a magnificent complex bouquet with blackcurrant, flint, woody and truffle notes.
On the palate: A relatively full-bodied, greedy, dense wine which reveals perfectly ripe tannins. It has a magnificent length and is energetic and concentrated on the palate with a mellow finish. A vintage full of complexity and brilliance that offers both generosity and firmness.
The suggestion for 12 bottles: Enjoy this magnificent chili wine with mushrooms and game. Serve at 16°-18°C
