Segna de Cor 2023 is the flagship cuvée and anagram of estate Roc des Anges, a major reference in Roussillon. Made from young Carignan, Grenache and Syrah vines grown organically and biodynamically, this cuvée offers a bright, refined, energetic red wine with remarkable drinkability. The 2023 vintage is distinguished by its freshness, aromatic precision and subtle depth typical of the schist terroirs of Montner.
Tasting notes:
Colour: bright, vibrant ruby red.
Nose: wild strawberry, fresh raspberry, redcurrant, pomegranate, floral notes, sweet spices and a touch of schist minerality.
Palate: juicy, fresh and full-bodied. Fine tannins, silky texture and great fluidity. Red fruit dominates, supported by elegant acidity and a vibrant, slightly mouth-watering finish.
12bouteilles advice: Perfect with grilled meats, roast poultry, dishes with sauces, fine charcuterie and mild cheeses. Serving temperature: 14–15°C. Drink now or within the next 5 years.
The Roc des Anges estate was created in 2001 in the Pyrenean foothills, mainly on the slopes of Montner. The vineyard covers 35 hectares and has been cultivated biodynamically since 2011.
