Château Larrivet Haut-Brion 2016

Bordeaux - Pessac-Leognan - Red Wine -

Château Larrivet Haut Brion produces "exceptional vintage" wines from Graves in the Pessac-Léognan appellation in the Bordeaux region. The property was acquired in 1987 by the Gervoson family of the Andros group, who restored to this forgotten property its acclaim. In a few years, the property has grown from 17 hectares to 72 hectares of vines.

The wines of Château Larrivet Haut Brion, produced with the greatest attention from the vine and the vinification, reveal an exceptional character, a real appeal to the voyage of the senses.

This 2016 vintage comes from a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc, with a deep garnet red color. Its nose is a complex and charming bouquet, associating notes roasted, toasted with aromas of black fruit slightly vanilla. On the palate, the attack is sweet and dense, medium-bodied with impeccably melted tannins and a long finish.

A powerful and harmonious 2016 vintage!

The advice of 12bouteilles: The wines of Château Larrivet Haut Brion are great wines that need patience. Open it 1h before tasting it. To be served around 17 ° C.
