Red Wine -Penfolds Penfolds G5 is without doubt one of the rarest wines in the world. A unique bottle, produced in only 2200 copies by the House of Penfolds. Unique because only Penfolds can create such a special product, a blend of 5 perfect vintages of Grange, all rated 100/100 by the world's greatest tasters.
G for Grange, Penfolds G5 is the meticulous blending of 5 Grange vintages: the Penfolds g5 blend energetically blends the Grange DNA of the exceptional 2010, 2012, 2014, 2016 and 2018 vintages, to create a completely unique expression of the House's flagship.
But as always with Penfolds, Cellar Master Peter Gago's vision is unique: "A wine greater than the sum of its parts" is how Penfolds likes to describe G5, the latest and final release in its "G" series. After the success of G3 and G4, G5 closes a unique trilogy that will not be continued. G5 will be Grange's last multi-vintage blend.

Penfolds, the art of blending as a signature of the House: The blending of several vintages is part of Penfolds' winemaking philosophy and has been since 1844. Penfolds Tawny styles, famous in the mid-1800s, continue a long tradition of fortified wines that celebrate this particular blending style. A natural progression was to apply this revered technique to create a new Penfolds red style, first with Penfolds g3, Penfolds g4 and finally Penfolds g5.
Only 2,200 bottles of this ultra-rare version were created.
