Paul Jaboulet Ainé - Hermitage, La petite chapelle 2008

Rhone Valley - Hermitage - Red Wine -

La petite chapelle 2008 is a legendary vintage produced by the house Paul Jaboulet Ainé, in the appellation Hermitage.

Made from very old 100% Syrah vines aged between 40 and 60 years old, La petite chapelle is complex because of the richness of the different terroirs that make up the vineyard.

The dress of this vintage 2008 presents a pretty bright purple color.

The nose releases sharp aromas of gooseberry, blackcurrant and cracked pepper.

On the palate, the attack is fresh and pleasantly concentrated and has flavors of black berries. The tannins are silky and have flavors of violet and Asian spices.

The advice of 12bouteilles: A huge wine that can be kept for up to 25 years in the cellar for the happiness of the patients who will be greatly rewarded. Serve it at a temperature of 16 to 18 ° C, accompanied by a good duck breast.
