Paul Jaboulet Ainé - Crozes Hermitage Blanc , Les Jalets 2016
Rhone Valley - Crozes-Hermitage - White Wine -Les Jalets 2016 is a white wine from the Crozes Hermitage appellation developed by Paul Jaboulet Aîné in the Rhône Valley.
The Crozes Hermitage vineyard is the largest of the northern appellations, it extends over 11 communes located in the Drôme, on the left bank of the Rhone.
This 100% Marsanne varietal wine, with a brilliant golden color, is made from 25-year-old vines. Its nose releases floral notes (hawthorn, verbena, linden ...) with aromas of pear, toasted almonds and a nice acidity. On the palate, the attack is fresh and fruity, with a nice suppleness. The palate is very well balanced and introduces a beautiful length with floral and toasted aromas.
The advice of 12bouteilles: To drink now and in the next 5 years, this 2016 vintage is to be enjoyed at a temperature of 12 ° C with a fillet of pike perch with braised cabbage.
