Pascal Jolivet : Pouilly Fumé "Indigène" 2017

The Cuvée "Indigène" in the 2017 vintage is a dry and mineral white of the Pascal Jolivet estate located in the Loire Valley, in the Pouilly Fumé appellation. The vineyard of Pouilly is located 200 km south of Paris on the right bank of the Loire.
From a selection of old Sauvignon Blanc vines, the flagship grape of the vineyard, "Indigène" takes its name from yeasts naturally present in the grapes.
The harvest comes from a plot selection in the heart of the village of Tracy sur Loire on a soil of pure flint.
Powerful, structured, mineral, fine and elegant, Indigène 2017 vintage is a very great wine, identifiable thanks to its nose "flint", signature of the flint soil of Pouilly.
It is an extraordinarily aromatic Pouilly with floral and fruity notes. Full-bodied, fresh and elegant, this wine has perfect minerality and a finish that is almost disconcerting. A very great wine of the Loire signed Pascal Jolivet.
The advice of 12bouteilles: To be tasted now, this great wine is to serve chilled, at about 12 ° C. It will perfectly match a plate of seafood, a turbot served whole or roasted white meat.
