Pascal Jolivet : Le Chêne Marchand 2016
Chêne Marchand 2016 is a white wine from Domaine Pascal Jolivet, made in the Sancerre appellation, in the Loire Valley. The vineyard, created in 1987, covers 95 hectares between Sancerre and Pouilly Fumé, plus 50 hectares in Touraine for altitude. This Chêne Marchand wine comes from plots, located in the town of Bué, facing south and at high altitude, which gives this wine a richness and a "solar" touch.
Vivid, mineral and fat, the Marchand Oak is a historic "cru" of the Sancerre appellation. Its limestone soil brings freshness, minerality and salinity.
This 100% Sauvignon Blanc grape variety is adorned with a golden color, its complex nose oscillates between lemon zest and spicy and mineral notes. Full, the final while tension surprises with its iodized notes
The advice of 12bouteilles: Enjoy right now, serve it cool, around 11-12 ° C. It will marry wonderfully with a baked fish.
