Napa Valley - Napa Valley - White Wine -Newton Chardonnay Unfiltered 2016 comes from one of the most prestigious estates in Napa Valley, California.
Made from a Burgundy grape variety, Chardonnay enjoys a perfect climate offered by the forests in the heights of California. The Napa Valley terroir has exposure to the sun with specific microclimates that are ideal for the development of rich and fruity wines. To derive maximum flavor and aroma, the grapes are hand picked and vinified separately to add complexity to the final wine. Fermentation is carried out naturally, with yeasts from the same region in order to keep its characteristics as much as possible and with a concern for sustainable and balanced practices.

Bottled without filtration to reveal the fullest expression of the fruit, the 2016 is a crisp and fresh celebration of this California estate's magnificent Napa Valley home.
Taking advantage of a hot summer, this 2016 vintage began to ripen early and throughout July. In August, mild weather allowed the grapes to develop at a steady pace. At the end of August, thanks to several hot days, they reached their ultimate maturity. Aged in French oak barrels (24% new, for a skilful balance of woody aromas), for 12 months, the wine is concentrated and deep, but also lively and fresh.
