"Esquerda", "the fault in the rock" in Catalan, is the expression of the character and identity of a rich and unique region.
This red cuvée comes mainly from superb Syrah, but also from Grenache and Carignan.
This vintage 2017 has a dress of beautiful intensity, deep and supported. On the nose, it expresses maturity with notes of black fruits, warm spices and its original terroir with floral notes (violet), slightly smoked (hearth). These are aromatic notes that can be found on the terroirs of Côtes du Rhône Septentrionales, cradles of syrah.
In the mouth, the attack is supple and powerful, the tannins are both powerful and tight, the finish is fresh, without heaviness.
The advice of 12bouteilles: To serve between 16 ° C and 18 ° C, the 2017 Esquesda will be perfect with a vegetable pork stir-fry.
