Appearance: Deep ruby with garnet hues.
Nose: Complex and expressive, offering ripe red fruits, sweet spices, vanilla and delicate toasted notes.
Palate: Silky and well-balanced, with fine tannins and long-lasting flavors of black fruits, licorice, and a subtle oak finish.
The 2021 Reserva is crafted from Tempranillo, with a touch of Graciano and Mazuelo. Grapes are sourced from vines over 40 years old, planted in the best limestone soils of Rioja Alavesa. After fermentation, the wine is aged for 24 months in American oak barrels and matured in bottle to reach full harmony.
With its elegant structure and aromatic complexity, Marqués de Riscal Reserva 2021 is a remarkable aging wine, ideal with gourmet meals or grilled meats.
