Marques de Riscal Reserva 2011
Marques de Riscal produces a wine that matches the classic Rioja style: fresh, fine, elegant and with great aging potential.
Marqués de Riscal Reserva wines are mainly made from grapes from tempranillo vines (90%) planted before the 1970s, grown in the best terroir of Rioja. This variety has a good aging potential thanks to its balanced acidity and fine tannins.
The Graciano (7%) and Mazuelo (3%) bring a crisp and a bright color.
This 2013 vintage adorns an intense black cherry color with good depth.
The nose releases very expressive aromas with hints of liquorice, cinnamon and black pepper.
In the mouth, the attack is fresh with tannins well present. It is an easy drinking wine with a long, lingering finish.
The advice of 12bouteilles: To serve between 16 ° C and 18 ° C, it goes well with red meats, vegetables and soft cheeses.
