Burgundy - Puligny Montrachet - 1er Cru - White Wine -The vineyard of Louis Latour in the Puligny-Montrachet appellation "sous le puits" is a hillside vineyard facing south-east. The climate "Under the Well" is located at the top of Blagny Hill, emblematic terroir of Chardonnays, probably the largest in the world. The wine is vinified in oak barrels for 8 to 10 months before bottling.
This 2011 Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru "Sous Le Puits" is a delicate Chardonnay that enhances aromas of white flowers and toasted hazelnuts. It is balanced, of great length and roundness in mouth.
Suggested culmination: 2015-2020.
The advice of 12bouteilles: It will also go perfectly with oily fish but also with white meats, poultry and mushroom dishes. Serve chilled around 12 °C.
