A visionary pioneer, Maison Louis Latour exported its Côte de Beaune know-how to the Ardèche region. The Grand Ardèche Chardonnay is the flagship cuvée of this success. Crafted with the same standards as a Burgundian Grand Cru, this wine offers unbeatable value. The 2024 vintage stands out for its remarkable creaminess, delivering an opulent, nobly oak-aged, and generous white wine.
Appearance: Yellow-gold, clear and brilliant, adorned with deep golden highlights.
Nose: Rich and complex. Aromas of fresh butter, golden brioche, toasted almond, ripe peach, and Bourbon vanilla.
Palate: Full, smooth, and generous. Highly seductive buttery roundness held together by beautiful freshness. Long finish with toasted hazelnut notes.
This 100% Chardonnay comes from Ardèche clay-limestone soils chosen for their similarity to the great terroirs of the Côte de Beaune, ensuring optimal concentration and aromatic richness.
Traditional Burgundian winemaking. Fermentation and aging for 10 to 12 months in oak barrels (Louis Latour cooperage, approx. 20% new) with regular lees stirring to add texture and complexity.
Sublime with creamy poultry with morels, veal blanquette, fish in brown butter, or aged Comté cheese.
A premium and generous wine to enjoy today or cellar for 3 to 5 years. Open 30 minutes before serving between 12 and 13°C.
