Burgundy - Red Wine -In 2010, in the south of Greater Burgundy, in the area of Pierres Dorées, in the heart of Beaujolais, Maison Louis Latour began planting Pinot Noir.
Today, the vineyards extend over 20 hectares of calcareous hive soil made of iron oxide which contribute to producing a surprising wine between richness and freshness with a beautiful aromatic complexity.
Made from 100% Pinot Noir, « les pierres dorées » 2016 is adorned with a bright red robe and intense garnet hues. The nose expresses a greedy blend of flowers, red fruits, and sweet spices. On the palate, the attack is round, full and crunchy and has concentrated aromas of black fruits. The finish is fresh with a beautiful persistence.
The advice of 12bouteilles: to keep in cellar between 3 and 5 years, a 100% Pinot Noir red wine to be served between 14 ° C and 16 ° C with a tuna tartare or a goat cheese for a perfect match.
