Louis Latour Beaujolais Village 2016
Beaujolais - Beaujolais-Villages - Red Wine -The Beaujolais-Villages of the Maison Louis Latour is the blend of 35 terroirs of northern Beaujolais.
The granite soils of the region are perfectly suited to the grape variety Gamay, grape variety of Beaujolais wines.
The difference between the appellations of Beaujolais, Beaujolais Nouveau, Beaujolais, Beaujolais Supérieur, Beaujolais-Villages as well as Beaujolais crus, depends on the yields produced and the terroirs.
The Beaujolais-Villages is raised and bottled in the cellars of the Maison Louis LATOUR, at Clos Chameroy.
The 2016 vintage of this Beaujolais-Villages has a beautiful deep garnet. The nose releases aromas of undergrowth, damp earth and strawberry. The palate is round, full and round, it offers flavors of wild strawberry. The finish is fresh and greedy. Ready to drink, you can keep it for 2 to 3 years to reach its peak.
The advice of 12bouteilles: It will go perfectly with grilled meats, a platter of deli meats or even ripened cheeses. Serve chilled between 13 and 15 ° C
