Luigi Pira Barbera d'Alba 2014

Piedmont - Barbera d'Alba - Red Wine -

The new genius of Piedmontese wines, the winemaker Luigi Pira presents his superb Barbera d'Alba 2014.

This wine is stamped DOC (Domaine d'Origine Controlée) which is the highest level of recognition of a product in Italy.

This wine is produced on an exceptional estate in the heart of the Piedmont region. Only two hectares of vines can produce up to 8000 bottles per year of this 100% wine composed of Barbera grape, a gems of the region that must not be missed!

This Barbera is raised with the same care as its big brother Barolo in French wooden vats for over 12 months in order to grow.

A wine of intense ruby red color, offering a young but already complex nose, well balanced between spicy notes of oaks and wild berries. Its entire mouth remains long in the mouth to develop all the aromas of this wine with lots of body.
