Joseph Drouhin : Saint-Véran 2016
Burgundy - Saint Véran - White Wine -The Joseph Drouhin Saint-Véran 2016 is a great white wine from Burgundy, produced at low yields, which makes it all the more unique and rare. Made from 100% Chardonnay grapes, the grapes are grown in the south of Burgundy, on the border with Beaujolais.
The maison Joseph Drouhin, big vineyard of Burgundy, old to a very slow pressing, to respect the fruit. The juice of the last press is not retained. The vineyard soil is Jurassic limestone, ideal for Chardonnay.
This Saint-Véran 2016 of the house Joseph Drouhin displays a pretty golden hue with green reflections. The nose is reminiscent of Chardonnay grapes, with subtle musky notes. The palate is round and of a great freshness, it is an attractive vintage with beautiful aromatic nuances.
The advice of 12bouteilles: A serve cool, around 12-13 ° C, please enjoy it in the next 3 years. As good as an aperitif at table, Saint-Véran 2016 will be perfect with prawns à la plancha or even a salad of avocado.
