Joseph Drouhin : Gevrey Chambertin 2014
Burgundy - Gevrey Chambertin - Red Wine -Gevrey Chambertin is a red wine from the Joseph Drouhin house whose grapes are grown north of the Côte de Nuits, in a village famous for its nine divine Grands Crus.
A pretty ruby color, clean and colorful, bright and lively, the nose releases fruity aromas of black cherry and wild blackberry with a touch of liquorice. The evolution in bottles brings more complexity to the nose, with more spicy notes, nutmeg and leather before evoking scents of mushroom and potting soil. In the mouth, the tannin is combined with a good freshness and a harmonious fat. The finish is sweet and fruity.
The advice of 12bouteilles: This 100% Pinot Noir wine has a good aging potential (5 to 20 years). Serving between 16°C and 18°C, Gevrey Chambertin 2014 is perfect for a good duck breast with pepper sauce.
